That was pretty cool, Molly! Having only seen the first film -- and over a decade ago! -- I really enjoyed reading your take on both it and the remaining movies in the franchise. And I'm actually kind of impressed that Rick Moranis came back for the third... I'm doubting they paid him all that much in comparison to his prior earnings, so it must really have been a labor of love.

Interesting that the death of an ant could be so sad, too. I mean, we've all probably killed millions of them in our lifetime. But while I could maybe -- maybe -- see an ant making friends with tiny people (okay, not really, but still), there's no way I can imagine a daddy long legs doing that. And wouldn't climbing on the web get them stuck and partly pre-digested?

They climbed up one of the strings on the spider's web -- the strings that hold the web up... while it was being released by the spider... or something. The whole movie is full of contrived and improbable situations, so I can't really say much more about THAT. :)
